BRYANT, Audrey Sophia R.N. -

Bryant AudreyPassed away peacefully on Monday September 7th, 2015 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel Bryant.

Cherished daughter of the late Charles Doherty and May Coben.

Predeceased by siblings, Mary Margaret (May) Doherty, Gordon (Geraldine Corkery), Charles (Jr.), and Teresa Weaver (Bob). Survived by cousins Maryann Farquhar and family, Colleen Allen, Kathleen Callaghan-Hall, Larry & Deanna Allen, Rose Aldrich, Mary Graham, Lorna and Neil Callaghan. Also survived by many Coben cousins in Saskatchewan, especially Dorothy Coben. Also missed by Dan's family, especially Stephanie and Ian Liddell in Australia.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Church,, and attended Kinmount Public School. In 1940, the family moved to Lindsay, where her father opened Doherty's store at 57 Ridout St., Audrey and her family were members of St. Mary's Church in Lindsay.

Audrey was a proud graduate of the 1949 class of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Peterborough, Ontario. After graduation Audrey nursed in Sarnia, Ontario where she met her beloved "Danny". Dan served with the R.C.A.F. and his work took them to many parts of the world. Audrey would often reminisce about their travels in Germany, other European countries and of the years the years they lived in New Zealand. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill St., Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Thursday from 7-9 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Church Of The Canadian Martyrs, 364 Regent Street, Orillia L3V 4C9 (1-416-251-0499) on Friday, September 11 at 3:00 P.M. Interment later at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Sarnia.

If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
