Carter Stephen Burrell passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Carter was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his selflessness and love.

Carter is survived by his beloved wife Christine (née Cinotti); his daughter Samantha McQuaid (Eric); his son Stephen (Brittany); and his grandchildren Austin, Colton, Jacob, Carter, and Morgan. He will also be missed by his brother Lester (Marilyn) and his sisters Marsha (Peter) and Cathy. Carter was predeceased by his brothers Laurie and Frank (Theresa).

Carter was a man of many talents and passions. Known for his skill as a woodworker and pool player, he was admired for his dedication to his craft and the joy he brought to those around him. Above all, he was a devoted family man, and his love for his family will always be remembered.

A celebration of Carter’s life will be held at a later date to honor his beautiful spirit and the love he shared with all who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Aftercare Funeral Home, Toronto, Ontario.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
