Description Heavenly Rest Family of Catholic Cemeteries
Our ministry of service dates back to 1767, when Assumption Parish was established. Heavenly Rest Family of Catholic Cemeteries comprises eight cemeteries in Windsor-Essex. Heavenly Rest, our main cemetery, was established in 1929 and has become the preeminent resting place for area Catholics. Situated on 75 acres in the southwest corner of Windsor, it is a sanctuary for peace and prayer, with beautifully landscaped gardens, waterfalls and ponds.
We offer many choices including traditional ground burial, mausoleum crypts, cremations, cremation gardens and niches. We are certain we can accommodate your families’ needs for today and future generations.
