Description According to the list of monuments, the cemetery includes more than 700 burials. Land records show that this parcel was deeded as a Protestant burial ground back in 1854. Burials may have taken place here before 1854. According to Kenneth F Collins' published transcriptions (Ottawa Branch, Ontario Genealogical Society, 1982), "The majority of the emigrants came from Glasgow and Dumfrieshire in Scotland, and the Counties of Tyrone and Cavan in Ireland."
