ABERNETHY, Cecil - Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday May 19, 2024 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Crystal Abernethy.
Dear father of Shelley.
Loving son of the late Emily and Gordon Abernethy. Dear brother of the late Bill Abernethy, Grace Steele, Marion Lanno, Lorna Spiteri, and Gord Abernethy and Marva Carcone.
Loving brother-in-law to Bob Gimblett and Joan Gimblett.
Cecil is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday May 24, 2024 from 9:30-11am at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division St., Bowmanville.
Service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 11am followed by interment at the Bowmanville cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Liver Foundation, The Kidney Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
