POWELL, Charles John - (Retired 35 year employee of Toronto Fire)
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday October 6, 2021, at the age of 89.
Beloved husband Joan and the late Florence.
Loving father of Cathy Walker, Cindy Chenier (Bruce), Corrie Weames (Greg), Greg Haley (Donna) and Theresa Lang.
Devoted grandfather to Hayden (Becca), Darcy, Zach (Maddie), Avery, Evan, Parker, Makenna, Camryn, Brad (Rachel), Paige and Richard. Also, a devoted great grandfather to Jack and Mason.
Dear brother of the late Mary Nepiuk, Roger, Joe and Frank Powell. Will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are required to register if they wish to attend visitation Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, on Wednesday October 13th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 21 Bayly Street East, Ajax on Thursday October 14th at 11:00 a.m. Registration will be taken at the door.
If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
