McCRACKEN, Dennis John  – On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Dennis John McCracken passed away peacefully at home, with his wife and soulmate, Diane (McFalls) of 56 years and his loving daughter, Jodie at his bedside.

He was born in London, Ontario June 16, 1945 to William and Freda McCracken.

Dennis was the proud father of daughters, Kerri and Jodie who he enjoyed scuba diving with. He dearly loved his granddaughter, Hana and son-in-law, Jeremy Dyke.

Brother-in-law to Brenda and Brian Lang and uncle to Kelly Lang. He was forever grateful to his nephew, Jeff Lang, who courageously donated a kidney to Dennis, enhancing his life for 15 more years. Emi Lang and great-nephew, Keith were a pleasure to him.

He lived up to his name ‘Dennis the Menace’ joking and playing pranks with family and friends.

Dennis was a successful entrepreneur as President of McCracken Golf Supplies for 32 years, as well as co-partner in AG-Turf chemicals.

An avid golfer, he was a member of Brampton Golf Club for 30 years. He had 3 hole-in-ones, with 2 at Windstar on Naples Bay, Florida where he and Diane spent many winters.

Dennis will be missed by Diane, the love of her life, family and many friends.

In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
