HERSCOVITCH, Diana Gold - Passed away peacefully on Sunday December 27th, 2020 in North York General Hospital after a brief illness, with her husband and son by her side.
Diana was born in Montreal on September 8th, 1945. She attended Baron Byng and Monklands High Schools. She went on to earn a degree in education at MacDonald College of McGill University. She taught primary school and was very successful teaching immigrant children in an inner city school in Montreal.
Dearly beloved wife of 56 years to devoted husband Howard Herscovitch. Loving mother to her devoted son Larry.
Cherished daughter of the late Lily Gladstone Gold and Louis Ted Gold. Dear sister and sister-in-law to Sandy Gold Millstein and Richard Millstein, the late Murray Gold and Susan Dykhuis, Robert and the late Ruth Herscovitch and Myra Herscovitch and caring cousin Bunny Weinbaum.
Diana will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends, neighbors, and all of those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind nieces and nephews Lisa Millstein Sone and Eryn Sone, Dana Millstein, Alan Hersh and Rosemary Nissenthall, and great niece and nephew Ally and Jayson Sone.
