JARDINE, Donald Raymond - Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in his 89th year.
Don was the beloved husband of Barbara Millar for 62 years. Loving father to Brian and his wife JoAnne of Toronto and Robert and his wife Monica of Fenelon Falls. Predeceased by daughters Jennifer Margaret (1958) and Mary Barbara (1963).
Much loved grampa to Sophie (Tony) and Graham Jardine of Toronto and Abigail, Simon and Noah of Fenelon Falls.
Dear brother to Dianne Davis of Lindsay and predeceased by his brother Offley Jardine. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Employed at Canadian Arsenals Limited (12 years) and Union Carbide Canada Limited (28 years). Member of Faithful Brethren Lodge No. 77 Lindsay since 1957, Commissioner for Canada for the Jardine Clan Society since 1982.
Friends will be received at Jardine funeral home, 8 Princes' St., Fenelon Falls on Sunday, September 3rd, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 45 Russell St. W, Lindsay on Monday, September 4th at 1:30 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or Fenelon Court Resident Fund.
A private family service will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery after cremation.
