STURTRIDGE, Dorothy - Passed away peacefully, at Hospice Peterborough on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the age of 96.
Dorothy is reunited with her late husband, John 'Jack' Sturtridge.
She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Wendy (Gerry) Fucile, John (the late Linda) Sturtridge, Robin (Richard) Labelle, Deborah (Brian) Trepanier and Beth (Vince) Fragomeni.
The proud grandmother of Stephanie (Brendan) Lisk, Geoffrey (Natasha) Fucile, Christina (the late Shannon) Dippong, Tom (Jen) Labelle, Cassie Johns, Maria Labelle, Kyle (Julie) Maynard and Brittany Maynard. Adored great- grandmother of eleven.
Dear sister of James (Bette) Morrison. Predeceased by her parents, David and Dot (née Hypatia) Morrison; and her brothers, David (the late Sheila) Morrison and Ken (the late Jean) Morrison.
Dorothy will be remembered by her extended family and many friends; as well as by many from her time as a registered nurse and hospital chaplain.
Our thanks to the Community Palliative Care Team, especially, Dr. Whiting, Kristina, Jennifer and Anita from SE Health, and the staff of Hospice Peterborough.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Andrew's United Church, Sudbury, or a Charity of Your Choice would be greatly appreciated.
Keeping with Dorothy's wishes, a private family interment will take place.
