HUMPHRIES, Douglas R. - Surrounded by his family, on June 27th, Douglas R. Humphries (born June 9, 1934) passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital after a brief illness.
Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Sonya, of 63 years; father to daughters Sandra (Arnott) and Lauren (Moir); and grandfather to Lesley, Colin, Nathanael and Conrad.
After a long career in advertising, Douglas continued sharing his passion for photography and travel with family and friends.
As a cancer survivor, he supported the Canadian Cancer Society and the Salvation Army.
Contributions in his name to either of these charities would be greatly appreciated.
Cremation will take place and a private family gathering is to be arranged at a later date.
