Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.
Beloved husband of Mary Lou for 71 years.
Loving father of Edward & his wife Stephanie and Steven & his wife Anne.
Cherished Grandpa of Matthew (Rachelle), Michael (Michelle), Sarah and Jennifer and great-grandpa of Roland.
Doug was predeceased by his parents Arthur & Clara Nichols as well as his brother Henry Howard.
Private Family Services will be held in Bowmanville. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
Memorial Donations may be made to The Cancer Society.
