BURNETT, Dr. Thomas Clarence Burnett, P.Eng, PhD - Peacefully on June 15, 2022 in his 82nd year with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents Sybil and Clayton Burnett of Oshawa and siblings Barbara and Audrey.
Loving husband to Marlene Alice (nee Graham) for over 59 years.
Devoted father to Patricia Jane (Raymond McCarthy), Marjorie Anne and Lisa Joy (Derek Paterson). Beloved Grandpa to Emily Elizabeth Paterson.
Brother-in-law to Terry Graham and Bill Collinson.
Graduate class of 1962 of Queens University Engineering. Tom earned his PhD at Queens in 1967.
After a rewarding career and much travel he retired from INCO in 1998.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Mount Lawn Funeral Home with an interment to follow at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY .
In lieu of flowers donations to Queens University, The Dean's Engineering and Applied Science Bursary Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
