He attended the University of Saskatchewan, University of British Columbia, and received his PhD from Harvard University.

STALEY, Ronald (Ron) Lee Staley – It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald (Ron) Lee Staley, age 74, on April 9th, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his daughters by his side.
Even in the hospital during his last day, he continued with his endless sense of humour, bringing smiles and laughter to his daughters and nurses and doctors.
For over the past 20 years, Ron was the devoted and loving husband to his wife, Carole and together they created many happy memories.
