Weinsheimer HarryWEINSHEIMER, Harry  - It is with the greatest of sadness that I share with you the passing of my wonderful brother Harry Weinsheimer who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 68. 

Harry grew up in the Courtice area as a happy, gentle, and free-spirited child.

Since the age of 18, Harry struggled with his own personal demons that revealed their presence through his years of struggling with mental illness.

Despite this, all who knew Harry well, were touched by his humour, his loving spirit and at times, his extremely feisty demeanour.

Lefaive LauraLEFAIVE, Laura (Helen) - Peacefully on May 21st, 2020, due to natural causes, Laura left us. 

She will be reunited with her beloved husband Joseph (Hank) and her loving sister Sylvia (Tillie).

Missing her terribly are daughter Jane Lloyd (Fred), grandsons Brian (Jen) and Brad, great-grandsons Ben and Patrick and nephews Dan Fournier (Linda) and John Lefaive (Elaine). 

She will be sorely missed by her cherished friends the Vodden and McCarten families. 

      

Meagher AllanMEAGHER, Allan   -  December 7, 1940 – May 21, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce, Robert Allan Meagher, entered into eternal rest, at home, with his wife Joan, at his side, May 21st, 2020.

Allan, as he liked to be called, was a man of many accomplishments in his life.

An avid fisherman, hunter and athlete, to everyone who knew him, Allan was meticulous in everything he did.

This particular quality, served him well and allowed him to excel, not only in his chosen profession as a lithographer, it allowed him to excel as a pilot and as an accomplished marksman.

MacFARLANE, Patricia (nee Meredith) - At Toronto Western Hospital, Tuesday, May 19, due to COVID-19 pneumonia, at the age of 86.

A gentle woman of remarkable intuition, grace, articulation and humour, she helped many in her life, including as a licensed practical nurse in the forensic unit of the former Queen Street Mental Health Centre.

Klara was born in Hollohaza, Hungary and immigrated to Canada with her 2 brothers and 2 sisters in 1929 to reunite with their parents Gizella and Rudolph Schubert who had preceded them to Canada in their quest for a new life for their young family, settling in Oshawa, a place that Klara would call home for the remainder of her life.
