* As of Sept. 22, 2021:  Funeral services (including visitations) are part of the Goverment

of Ontario's 'Vaccine Passport' requirement, If Held Indoors.

This includes Funeral Services at Funeral Home, Cemeteries and Crematoriums, If Held Indoors.

* From Sept. 22 to Oct. 12, 2021:
Funeral Guests may attend an Indoor Funeral, if they have Proof of a Negative COVID-19 Rapid Test,
taken 48 hours preceding the Funeral.

* After Oct. 12, 2021, all attendees must show proof of vaccination or written proof of a Medical
Exemption from a doctor or nurse.

There are no other exemptons for people attending funerals.

---Except for:
* Those presenting written proof of a Medical Exemption from a doctor or nurse; and
* Children under the age of 12.

* These measures do not apply to outdoor funerals.

* Everyone must still wear a mask or face covering.

Kay FayleneKAY, Faylene (nee Nickerson)  - Faylene Kay passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2018 in the company of her family at Lakeridge Hospital in Oshawa in her 92nd year. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur Kay.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters Sharon (David) and Debra (Peter), her granddaughters, Lynn, Jessalyn, Erin, and Allison and her great grandson Colton, as well as by her brother John Nickerson (Joyce).

Predeceased by her parents Judson and Mina Nickerson and her siblings Don Nickerson and Violet O’Neil and her niece Sharon.

Aunt Fay will remain forever in the hearts of her niece Vicki O’Neil and her nephews Jack and Randy O’Neil (Sharon) and Dean Nickerson (Liz) and great nephew Judson Nickerson.

Faylene will never be forgotten by her best friend Joan Blackmore, her devoted friend Paula Nevin, and all of her neighbors who loved her so much and took such great care of her for many years.

Please join Faylene’s family at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St E, Oshawa for a Celebration of Life held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 12:00pm.
