LEDDY, Patrick Joseph - March 10, 1937 – September 13, 2018
On Thursday September 14, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, Pat succumbed to cancer.
Predeceased by his loving wife Brenda (nee Cooper), and his parents Leo and Meretta Leddy.
Patrick had a full hand with children Dan (Penny), Doug, Shelly (John Welsh), Jerry (Jodi) and Mickey (Ralph Cryderman).
He was extremely proud of his 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Patrick enjoyed his tenure at General Motors to the age of 50, helping many employees with substance abuse.
After GM he continued his work with AA, helping others and making many friends.
Patrick will be remembered by many, including sister Joanne (Ted Yeo), sister in law Myra Hopps and brother in law Greg Cooper. He will be lovingly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Sunday September 16th, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street S. Bowmanville on Monday September 17th, 2018 at 11 am, with visitation from 10 – 11 am. Private Interment.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital.
