PRATT, Joan Beverly - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan Beverly Pratt, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 84.
Wife of the late Thomas Pratt.
Joan was a devoted mother to Brenda Jefferies (Brad) and a loving, kind and warm-hearted grandmother (granny) to Carly & Alison Venedam.
She will be fondly remembered and missed by both the Jefferies & Pratt families.
She was the heart of our little family and greatly loved. Joan cared about people.
Those who knew her recognized her amicable nature and positive personality. J
oan enjoyed her volunteer work at Chances Are, was an avid reader and loved to shop.
She will be sorely missed but warmly remembered by many. We would like to thank all the staff at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital for their kindness, care and support through our difficult time.
Also, thank you to the staff at Butternut Manor who showed care and compassion throughout Joan’s brief stay there.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at our family home (27 Jonathan Street, Uxbridge) from 2:00 – 6:00pm. Please join us to remember her life and share your memories.
In lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
