MOFFATT, Agnes “Nan” (Nee Paterson) - August 9th, 1937 – October 26th, 2018
The family of Nan is heartbroken to announce her passing on Oct. 26, 2018.
She will be missed terribly by her husband of 61 years, Stanley, by her daughters Julia (Shaun) and Lesley, and by granddaughters Emily and Claire.
She was a special “Gaga Nan” to Stephen and John Kalafatis.
She is survived by her brother David (Elizabeth).
Nan was an avid reader and a dedicated employee of the Whitby Public Library for over 35 years until she retired at 80 in April 2018.
The family would like to thank Dr. Francis Kwan, who was Mom’s family doctor, and the nurses on 4F Palliative Care -Lakeridge Health, Oshawa.
A reception will be held on Sunday Nov. 4th from 11:00am – 2:00pm at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa L1J 0C9 905-579-6787).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Durham Region Hospice-Whitby would be greatly appreciated.
