ALBERT, Mario  -  It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mario who passed away suddenly on October 24th, 2018 in Cobourg, Ontario at the age of 66.

Loving father of Julian, Amelia and Rachel.

Cherished son of Christel and the late John Albert.

Dear brother of Sylvia Albert Kursawe and uncle of Chrissy [Russ and Sammy Crum] Kursawe.

Predeceased by grandmother Emma Wray and brother-in-law Freddy Kursawe.

Deeply missed by partner Janice Wright and family. Lovingly remembered by Roberta Albert and family. Mario will also be missed by extended family in Germany and the United States, and by his community of friends and acquaintances here in Ontario.

Mario was born in Braunschweig, Germany, on January 24th, 1952, and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1956. Mario had a life long career in the entertainment industry as both producer and performer.

His company Magic Theatre Productions delighted audiences with magic, acrobatics, song and dance, and guest appearances of local talent.

Communities throughout Ontario have benefited by the fundraising efforts of his company to bring awareness to non-profit organizations.

After his retirement, Mario devoted himself to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church here in Cobourg, Ontario. He was an active member of the church as president of The Legion of Mary, and a member of the choir.

An all-welcomed service, with reception to follow for Mario Albert will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 379 Division St., Cobourg, Ontario.

Mario’s ashes will be laid to rest at Skyway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Palmetto, Florida.
