FERRARO, Filomena - Peacefully at Thornton view Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of the late Filippo.
Loving mother of John (Josie), and Maria (Wayne).
Cherished Nonna of Matthew, Christine, and Kayla. Loving sister of Carmela Porco.
Filomena will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends both in Canada and Italy.
Visitation will be held at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOME, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Friday, November 2nd from 2:00-4:00pm, and 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Parish Prayers will be held at 3:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church on Saturday November 3rd, at 10:00am.
Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Whitby will follow.
