SANDERCOCK, John McKay - It comes with so many great memories of our dad, John McKay Sandercock (Sandy), and to sadly say he passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, Ontario, on November 8, 2018 at the age of 86.
John was a resident of Oshawa, who was a long-time employee of General Printers, and a member of the Union Rod and Gun club.
He loved to read about World War history, and made dioramas of that era. Pretty good work we must say!
John is the son of the late James Russell Sandercock and Lillie (nee: Richardson). Loving husband to Dorothy Mae (nee: Beavis), and father of John Jeffery Sandercock, and Lori Ann Parsons. A good friend to Henry Dykstra.
His grandchildren are Michael John Robert Parsons, and Olivia Alexandra Sandercock. Brother of the late Irene (Bev) Brooks, and uncle to Sandford Reginald Brooks. In-laws are Jean (Andy) Senko, Ted (Velma) Beavis, Bill (Gloria) Beavis, and Ken (Edith) Beavis.
A private interment will take place at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, Whitby.
We express special thanks to all the support staff at the Lakeridge Dialysis unit.
