EISMONT, Barbara - July 19, 1932 – November 29, 2018
Peacefully at The Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the Late Fred Eismont.
Loving mother of Wendy (Bruce) and Fred (Julie).
Loving grandmother of Kathryn, Heather, Alexandra and Samantha.
Dear sister of Audrey and predeceased by Shirley. Dear sister of Edward (Gwen), Norman (Marilyn), Richard (Jackie) and predeceased by George (Martha).
Barb and Fred grew up and married in Hamilton and moved to Oshawa where they raised their family and developed long-lasting friendships. Barb and Fred loved entertaining friends and family.
Barb had an incredibly positive outlook on life that touched all who were in her presence.
A special thank you to the staff at The Village of Taunton Mills who were a second family to Barb.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday December 8th at 10:30 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
Memorial donations in Barb’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
