GARNIER, Jean “Sheena” Selfridge nee Ferguson - With great sadness, we announce Jean’s death.
She passed away with her family at her side at the Ajax/Pickering hospital on November 30, 2018 at the age of 71.
Jean was born in Hamilton, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1953.
Sheena was an avid knitter, enjoyed time with her friends and loved to read.
Jean was predeceased by her parents Bill and Jessie Ferguson and was sister to Sandy (Pat, Lindsay and Jeffery) and Blair (Jairo). Jean is beloved by her 3 children William (Morgan) Scott (Kristal) and Sheena (Robin) and was devoted Granny to her 5 grandchildren Ridley, Rian, Aiden, Emerson and Jackson whom she loved beyond anything.
A service of Thanksgiving for Jean’s life will be held at St. Timothy’s Presbyterian Church, 97 Burcher Rd., Ajax on Saturday December 15th at 7:00 PM with visitation one hour before at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Jean’s name to St. Timothy’s Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice.
