SHIELDS, Samuel “John” - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Samuel John Shields on Sunday December 30, 2018 peacefully at the age of 64 surrounded by his family at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener.
Beloved son of Sam and Ann Shields.
Loving father of Tracy and Shawn (Nicole).
Cherished Grandpa of MacKenzie, Sam and Max.
Dear brother of Andrew (Linda), Jayne (Rob Walton) and the late William.
John will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as extended family members in Scotland.
Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Saturday January 5, 2019 from 1-2p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
