(Wilson and Lee Music Store)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Wilson, January 4th, 2019 at the age of 92.

Ed was the loving and caring husband of the late Leona Wilson (nee Wallace).

He was predeceased by his brothers Bill (Hilda) and George (Barbara) and sisters Pearl Rowley (Harold), Mildred MacDonald (Jack), Emily Spencer (Alfred), Viola Groat (Roy) and Lillian Fowlie (Walter).

He was the devoted and dearly loved uncle by his nieces and nephews: Emily Ann Kawzenuk (the late Bill), Bill Wilson (Linda), Marlene Gutsole (Reginald), Walter Fowlie (Linda), Eleanor Nicholas (the late Nick), George Fowlie (Mary), Mary Piney (Ron), Betty Ann Manning (Douglas), Dave Wilson (Jocelyn) and Jeffery Wilson (Catherine). Sadly missed also by great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Ed was a life-long resident of Oshawa, working for a short time in the office of General Motors before moving on to work and become a co-owner of Wilson and Lee Music Store.

Ed tuned many pianos for Oshawa and area residents.

He was a long-time member of Simcoe Street United Church, a volunteer delivering Meals on Wheels, loved his cottage life and gave loving support to all our families.
