Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 83.
Much loved daughter of the late Marion and Charles McKay.
Beloved wife of the late Howard Kelly.
Dear sister of Betty Dixon and Shirley Robinson.
Predeceased by sisters Roberta “Gerry” May, Joan Mcleod and brothers George and Don.
Loving mother of Charles (Cathy) and Roger (Kai).
Proud Grandma of Bill (Pauline), Heather (GerryKuo), Heili (Peter Johnson) and Evan.
Cherished “Gramma Gramma” of Everest.
Marg aka “Marg from ceramics” was a proud fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays. She opened her heart and home to all she knew.
Marg was an avid baker and so many people will miss her infamous butter tarts and “rollie-pollies”.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior and a reception to follow at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
