ST. AUBYN, Leona Joan - 78, of Ajax, Ontario passed away on Saturday January 26th 11:32 A.M., at Ajax Hospital.
Leona was born June 27th, 1940 in Georgetown, Guyana, to parents Tony and Ethel Gonsalves.
Loving partner of Mohammed (Sonny) Ishmael.
Devoted mother of Jackie, Ramona, Sabrina (Errol), and Wayne. Grandmother to Amanda (Michael), Stephen, Jonathan, Alexis, Ashley, Brenden, and Noah.
Great-grandmother to Cian.
Dearly loved sister to Vilma, Harold, Buddy, Ralph, Doris (all pre-deceased), Jean, and Merle.
Leona will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and the countless individuals whose lives she has touched in her 78 years.
She will be remembered in our hearts and memories for the strong energy and vibrant personality and spirit she had throughout her life.
Arrangements with McEachnie Funeral Home. She is now rejoicing, pain-free, and in full health of the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
