BURT, John Patrick - Peacefully passed away on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at the age of 93.
Devoted husband to Therese of 66 years.
Cherished father to John Francis (Melba), Margaret Anne, Edmund (Rose) and Christopher (Nancy). Predeceased by his daughter Louise and his grandson John “JF”.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cheryl (Leo), Laura (Eric), Crystal (Andrew), Julie (Marty), Johnathan, Theresa (Adam), Joshua, Kelsey, Karley, Rebecca, Elise (Kevin), Amanda and Sean. Dear great grandfather to Joshua, Jacob, Alexander, Johnnie, Jackson.
John is a 69 year member of Local 27 Carpenters Union. He was a self-proclaimed Jack of all trades, but master of none. He was best known for his funny stories, jokes and mannerisms that made everyone laugh and love being around him.
All are welcome to attend a visitation at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on Friday February 1st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to take place in the chapel on Saturday February 2nd at 10am. Reception to follow on site. A private family burial to take place in Stayner, Ontario this spring.
