FLINT, Russell - Our family chain is broken . . .
With deep and heavy sadness we announce the passing of
Russell John Flint - father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, on Friday February 8, 2019, at the age of 88, surrounded by his family
After retirement, John left Toronto's west end to be closer to his family in Clarington.
John instilled on his family a core value system that defined who he was and that was a man that kept his promise, honoured commitment - a man of integrity.
His granddaughter Kimberley has committed herself to carrying on his tradition of handing out the Werther’s candies and bringing a smile to so many faces just as her grandfather did.
A special thank you to Dr. H. Williams, the nurses at Bowmanville - 2nd floor surgical unit for their gentle care and support. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Sick Kid's Foundation, in memory of John's great granddaughter "lsobel Celina Alldread’.
