DESOUSA, Maria Lucia (nee: Ramos) - Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday February 22, 2019, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 73rd year.
Maria, beloved wife of Tony DeSousa, for 45 years.
Much loved mother of Susan Miller (Ryan), Jacquie Pepeljuoski (Michael) and Jenny Lyons (Michael).
Cherished Avó of Nathan, Luke, and Noah; Matthew and Olivia; and Carter.
Dear sister of Angela Nunes (José Manuel) and José Antonio Ramos (Elsa) and all their families.
Maria will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and many dear friends.
Family and friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, for visitation on Tuesday February 26th from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm, with aprayer service at 6pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church in Oshawa on Wednesday February 27th at 10am. Entombmentto follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, Whitby.
Special thanks to the Nurses, Doctors and staff of 4F Supportive Care, for the loving and gentle care they provided for Maria and all her family during this journey.
