COMER, Bertrum “Bert/Bertie” - Passed away peacefully at Buckingham Manor on Monday, February 25, 2019 with his youngest son by his side.
Beloved husband to the late Carol.
Loving father to Steven (Wendy), Darlene (Dean), Denise (Rick) and Michael. Cherished grandpa to Jessica, Dylan, Denna, K.C and Tyce.
Survived by his siblings Mary, George (Marion), Doris and his sister-in-law Lorna.
He is predeceased by his brother Howard. Bert will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to specially thank the staff at Buckingham Manor for their exceptional care and Dr. C. Doobay for going over and above caring for their father.
As per Bert’s wishes, a funeral service will not be held; he will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery, Sunderland.
Memorial donations may be made to Buckingham Manor or a CHARITY of choice.
