CLOSS, William Bernard “Bernie” - After a long battle with cancer, Bernie passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital at age 81.
Beloved husband to Gail for 50 years.
Loving father to Natalie, Cynthia (Yanik) and Melanie (Tim).
Proud grandfather to Aidan, Lisa, Drew and Gregory.
He is survived by his brothers Gerald, Darcy, Michael and his sister Joan. He is predeceased by his brother Richard. Bernie will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Bernie’s life will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2p.m. with a time of visiting at 1p.m. After the service, the family invites you to join them at Wixan’s Bridge, 65 Brock Street W., Uxbridge.
Donations in memory of Bernie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
