GLIBBERY, Edwin (Ed) Gordon - (August 28, 1929 - April 4, 2019) - Now home with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Beloved son of the late Albert and Janet, predeceased by his siblings Ab, Larry and Marie (Doug), loved and missed by his sisters Joyce, Audrey, and brother Harvey and wife Lois.
Loving father to Victoria, Eric (Karyn) and Gordon (Elizabeth). Blessed with and cherished his full quiver of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ed was a loving and loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all his friends at the Ajax Seniors Community Centre where he spent many hours playing in cribbage and euchre tournaments, followed with good food and fellowship.
An avid photographer, he chronicled our family life and his travels well into his retirement years venturing across Canada and south to Largo, Florida capturing numerous moments and scenes on film. Ed was recognized Organizationally, Municipally and Provincially for co-founding, and ongoing support of, the Ontario Provincial Women's Softball Association.
He loved life, dinners with the family, rarely had a bad day, always ready with a kind word, loved to laugh, and always had a smile even when his health in decline.
A celebration of life will take place for family and close friends.
