SULLIVAN, Ronald (Ron) Arthur Sullivan - Of Cobourg. Age 84 years Ron Sullivan passed peacefully to his rest in the loving arms of God and surrounded by his children, on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

He is now at rest with his beloved wife Lelah who passed in 2008.

Father of three: Virginia (Gini) Walsh (husband Robert), Jordan Sullivan, and Heather Sullivan (husband Jim Oldfield).

Ron is survived by his brother Roger Sullivan of Kingston, ON. Predeceased by his sister Jean Sullivan of Ottawa, ON, Lola Skula of Thunder Bay, ON, Douglas Sullivan of Queens, NY, and Harry Sullivan of Ottawa, ON.

Ron is now at rest in the heart of God. Ron served as Director of Advent Computer Services at the Canadian Union Conference. He also worked at Parkland Furniture Factory, Canadian Union College (now Burman University), and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.

He was always active in the churches he was a member of, including treasurer, pianist, organist, or a number of other ways. In the early 90’s he took an early retirement to live with his beloved wife Lee, among the beauty of God’s creation. Dad’s faith in the blessed hope of Jesus’ return, and his love for his children, enabled him to live life as fully and faithfully as possible, for over eleven years after his precious Lee passed in January of 2008.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, ON, where Ron spent his last two weeks, for the amazing love, care, and compassion they offered Ron and his children.

Visitation will be held at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville, from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. A service to celebrate Ron’s life, will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 5th. Cremation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, ON, would be appreciated by the family.
