McCALDEN, Elva Noreen (nee Luke) - (RN – Oshawa General Hospital)
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, April 28th, 2019, in her 87th year.
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth McCalden, her parents Harold and Ruby Luke, and her beloved dog Toto.
Loving mother to Joanne MacPherson (Clarence) and David McCalden. Proud Nanny to Ken (Holly), Meghan (Derek), and Great-Nanny of Lylah, Ruby, Camryn, Brady and Nevin.
A warm thank you to all the staff at Centennial Retirement Home and the 5G and 4F units at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for all of their care and compassion.
A private family service to be held, followed by interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada or Lakeridge Health Auxiliary Unit are greatly appreciated.
