CALDER, William James - Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces at 86 years of age on Monday, May 13, 2019.
Survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline, and children William (Jenine) and Laurie (Mike).
Beloved grandfather (Gup) to Carly, Eric (Rosali), Ben (Liv) and Rachel.
Brother to Sandy (Joan) and predeceased by brother, John, and sister, Georgina.
Proudly worked for Generals Motors for 38 years as an electrician, retiring in 1988 to build the cottage of his dreams at Big Clear Lake in Arden.
He was loved by so many and known for his one-line wit.
A special thanks to the staff of Hillsdale Terraces for their exceptional care and compassion.
Close family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life Reception on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Road (north of Dundas Street), Whitby.
