NYLAND, Bernard G. “Ben” – Peacefully on Thursday June 6, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 90.
Ben, beloved husband of the late Maria Nyland.
Much loved father of Ted Nyland and his wife Suzanne, Jackie Cornelius (Pomp Morra), and the late Susan Davey (1995) (Arlie Davey).
Proud Poppa of Shaunna Maria Davey (Dan Delaney), Jessica Maria Cornelius (Patrick Herzog), and Emily-Sue Cornelius (Hayden Schaetzle).
Ben is predeceased by siblings Gerard, Theodore, Annie, Maria, Dora and Diny.
Ben will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends..
Family and friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Friday June 14th from 12noo.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.
Memorial donations to either Hospital for Sick Kids or the RS McLaughlin Cancer Centre through Lakeridge Health Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
