FORTEY, Francis James "Jim" - Age 91, formerly of Ajax, passed away peacefully at Bowmanville Hospital with family at his side.
Loving husband to Leona (predeceased), upstanding father of Bryan (predeceased) and Brenda.
Brother of Marjorie Williams (predeceased) and Marilyn Hartwell (New Zeland).
Treasured great nephew of Barry Bateman. He leaves behind grandchildren Aleah (Gordie) Nikki (Kevin) and Brandy. And great grandchildren Ivan, Miley, Layla, Grace, Jackson and Auston.
Jim's intellect, wit, integrity and kindness will be forever missed.
"Come as you are". A Celebration of Life will be held at The Accettone Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 26 from 3pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Team Chelsea in Jim's honour.
