ELLIS, Dorothy Sarah - Born in Horsham, St. Faiths, Norfolk, England on December 12, 1915.
Dorothy passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in her 104th year.
Beloved Wife of the late John Ellis (1980). Loving Mother of Kathleen (Herb) Hatch (both deceased) and Alan (Mae).
Devoted Nanny of 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, George and Florence Wright, and by her siblings Fred and Nancy.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Victoria Manor, Lindsay, for the exceptional care given to Dorothy in her last few years.
Visitation will be held at the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street, Port Perry on Thursday, June 27th from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service, Dorothy will be laid to rest at Ontario Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert, after which a reception will be held in the Church Hall.
In memory of Dorothy, donations to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Port Perry United Church would be greatly appreciated.
