BROWN, Rev. Eleanor Doreen - (October 2, 1928 – July 10, 2019)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at the age of 90 years.
Beloved wife of the late Walter.
Loving mother of Daniel Brown (Louise Kell), Richard Brown, Robin Brown (Brian Cullen) and predeceased by her son David Brown.
Loving grandma of Christopher (Jodi), Trevor (Laura), Geoffrey (Carrie) and Heather (Rick); great-grandma of Gabe, Arwen and Xavier and step-grandma of Brad (Wendy), Amanda (Jay), Katie (Matt) and their families.
Eleanor was born to Louisa Morley and later adopted by Thomas & Stella Haddlesey of Norwood. She was raised with her brothers Frank, Murray, Vernon and Leman.
She will be greatly missed by the numerous people she encountered through her lifetime.
Special thanks to the staff at Traditions of Durham, Lakeridge Health Bowmanville and Glenhill Strathaven Nursing Home for their wonderful care.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Friday July 26th from 6 – 7 pm, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 7 pm.
Memorial Donations may be made to The Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
