MARLOWE, Charles William  - With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Charlie.

With his loving family surrounding him, Charlie entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 in his 71st year at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Beloved husband of Sharon for over 47 years.

Loving Dad of Adrienne McDonnell (Darren), Megan Marlowe and Stefanie Marlowe (Tom).

Cherished Grandpa of Brendan and Cameron McDonnell, Jack and Andrew Moores and Peyton and Kenzie MacCallum.

Dearest brother of David Marlowe. Predeceased by his parents William and Verona Marlowe. Charlie will be sadly missed by many extended family and friends and had a special place in his heart for his niece Shannon. Charlie was a dedicated Chartered Accountant serving the Durham Region for over 45 years through his accounting firm.

He was also a proud member of the Green Gaels family since 1965. Charlie was very involved and well known within the Oshawa sports community.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Princess Margaret healthcare teams of the BMT 2nd floor clinic, 14C where Charlie spent many weeks and finally the Palliative Care unit.

Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 18th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations to the Simcoe Hall Settlement House or Princess Margaret Hospital – Palliative Care would be appreciated.
