PATTERSON, Ruth - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family at her side, on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of the late Sam for 49 years. Loving mom of Kent and his wife Catherine, Natalie (deceased), Glen, Margaret Meyer and her husband Oliver.
Proud grandma of Chelsea Einwechter (Mark), Sarah Chao (Andrew), Samantha, Meagan and Rebecca Patterson, Sam Meyer (Mary) and Emily Smith (Tyler) and the great-grandma to Mack, Luke and Jake Meyer, Julian Chao and Sloan Einwechter.
Dearest sister of Pauline Toms (Bill) of PEI and the late Jean Deneault (John) of Newcastle. Much loved sister-in-law of Mary Jane Cake, the late Bill Patterson and many nieces and nephews.
At Ruth’s request, a private family graveside service will take place.
In memory of Ruth, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
