Joseph, dearly loved husband of Olga (nee Syroiszka) of Port Perry.
Loved father of Derek Cooney and his wife Dianne Cross of Ajax and Terry Cooney and her husband Don Small of Buckhorn. Loving grandfather of Ashley Allingham and her husband Jay, Evan Cross-Cooney and Dante Barrios and great grandfather of Landon Allingham.
Dear brother of Vicki Coutts and her husband Peter. Joseph will be missed by all of his extended family and friends.
The family of Joseph Cooney will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
