LESZKOWICZ, Maria (Mary) Rozalia - It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Maria (Mary) Rozalia Leszkowicz (nee Kowalczyk).
Our mother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, September 14th, 2019.
Born August 3rd, 1924 in Łodź, Poland and married to Władysław (deceased 1980).
Loving mother to Helen Osumek (the late Andrzej 2016) and Walter (Donna). Cherished Nana to Mark (Tanis), Julia, Chase (Maidah), Krystle (Greg), Justin (Cindy) and Great Nana to Kayla and Chase.
Mary will be dearly remembered by her sister-in-law Leonarda Leszkowicz, and she will be greatly missed by her puppies which she adored.
Our mother was a member of The Holy Rosary Society at St. Hedwig’s Church.
Our family would like to thank the nurses at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on floor 9G for their compassion and thoughtfulness during our mother’s stay.
Resting at Oshawa Funeral Home, with visitation on Wednesday, September 18th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. HEDWIG’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa on Thursday, September 19th, at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment.
