NAIR, Krishnankutty   - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Krishnankutty Nair on Monday, September 30, 2019.

He was the loving husband of Leela for 47 years, the father of Usha and Binu (Anji) and grandfather to Keira and Kalin.

His brother and three sisters and many relatives in India will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Krishnankutty was born in Kerala, India on September 23, 1946.

He left India during his early twenties for Ghana, Africa to begin a career as a teacher. During his time there, he made friends that became like family.

Krishnankutty made his way to Canada with his wife, toddler daughter and baby boy to look for new opportunities. He worked hard to provide his family with a great life.

He had settled in Canada for almost 40 years spending time in the Niagara Region, Toronto and Ajax and formed lifelong friendships along the way. Krishnankutty had a successful career as a chemist.

During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time between India and Canada. He especially loved his time with his Keirakuttan and Kalinkuttan. His smile, intelligence and humourous nature will always be etched into the memories of those who loved him.

All are welcome to attend a Visitation which will take place on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax.  As per the family’s wishes, a private cremation will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be much appreciated by the family.
