LOPEZ, Maria Pilar - (November 1, 1933 - October 16, 2019)
Passed away October 16, 2019 at the age of 85, with her family at her bedside.
She has shared 67 years of love and respect with her husband Pedro Lopez, who have built a life together in Canada, having left Spain shortly after their wedding.
She is survived by their children Maria (Roger), Elizabeth (Carl), and Peter (Doro).
Her strength, love and care are remembered by her grandchildren Brenda, Lisa, Vincent, David, Victoria, Niclas and Elisa, and are passed on to her great grandchildren Keith, Judah, Samuel and Ana.
While she was an only child, she formed a circle of extended love and affection with her husband’s nephews and nieces in Spain and Brazil. Many will miss her smiles.
A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday October 26th at Holy Redeemer Church (796 Eyer Drive Pickering, Ontario, L1W 3C2). Reception to follow from 12:00 -2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
