BARTON, David Stuart  - 1967 – 2019  Dave Barton, age 52, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10th at Ajax Pickering Hospital with his loved ones surrounding him.

Dave’s own signature sound was an integral part of a variety of bands with whom he played with over the years, most notably Headrush.  His love of classic muscle cars was well known, particularly his lovingly restored Plymouth Barracudas: “The Pumpkin” and “The Limey”.

Dave had a long and distinguished career at Ontario Hydro and Ontario Power Generation as a Field Operator, Supervising Nuclear Operator and an Authorized Nuclear Operator.

He was also one of the longest serving union stewards, working to help his fellow union members when they had problems at or outside work that were affecting their job performance.

He will be deeply missed by everybody who had the honour and privilege of having been in his life.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Whitby.
