KNABL, Richard (Rick) Knabl - Rick passed away peacefully on Saturday October 26, 2019 in the comfort of his home.
Rick was a loving husband of 35 years to Darlene.
He was a proud father to Jason, Amber (Graham), Jennifer and Gibson - who he fiercely loved and protected.
Dear brother to the late Mark, and Michele (Ian), and loving Uncle to Lindsay, Leanne, Karissa and Katie, who he treasured.
Rick was predeceased by parents Adolf and Agi Knabl. Rick was the fearless leader of his family and a support system to all.
He loved his extended family. Including many uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews in the the Scheibli, Ryckman, and Bollo families. Rick will be greatly missed by all those who worked with, knew and loved him.
Rick was, and will continue to be, known for his quick wit, successful career and love of music (which he passed on to his children).
A private man, with a big heart - he loved to laugh, he loved to sing, but above all, he loved his family.
Please wear what you are comfortable with, black attire is not necessary. Colours or Leafs/Raptors/Blue Jays attire is encouraged!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rick’s honour to Camp Ooch (a camp for kids and families affected by childhood cancer), or the charity of your choice.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd, on Friday November 1 from 2:00-3:00 with a service to follow. Following the service, a reception will be held at a location to be shared at a later date.
