SLYWCHUK, Susan Slywchuk   -  1956 - 2019   With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Susan Elizabeth Slywchuk, age 63, on Monday,October 28th, 2019 in Ajax, Ontario.

Susan was born on August 3rd, 1956 in Timmins,Ontario to the late Anatoli and Elizabeth (Romiscon) Slywchuk.

She is predeceased by her brother, Nicholas Slywchuk (late Carmelle).

She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Ronald (Ronny) Rajca; her sisters Anne Marie Purificati (Vince) and Deborah (Debbie) Landry (Robert); her cousins Michael Romiscon (Ruth Archibald), Elsie Leskew (Bill Kelly),Helen Crozier (late Kevin), Paul Leskew (Marlene), Johnny Leskew (Bonnie), and Susan Leskew; her nieces Nadia Purificati (Serge Francis), Catherine Merritt (Alison Kooistra) and Andrea Landry;and her nephews David Purificati (Amy Chertow), Jonathan Merritt (Gioela Bender),Nicholas Slywchuk Jr., and Patrick Landry (Amanda Leclerc)along with many great nieces and nephews and the IRONHAWGS Motorcycle Club Brantford.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Cancer Centre for their excellent care for Susan over the last year.   

Susan had a rich network of friends from around the world, and she will be remembered by her family and friends for her generosity, creativity, love of bunnies, selfies, green thumb, always having a kind word for everyone she met, and dancing to her own tune.

A cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held for Susan in Timmins, Ontario in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Rabbit Rescue Inc. in Susan's honour would be greatly appreciated.
